About Dr. Stovall |
|
Dr. Tom Stovall has been in practice for forty three years. He began in a mixed practice in Arcata,
California, from 1966 to 1967. Upon moving to Redding, he practiced large animal medicine
for nearly 10 years. During that time, Dr. Stovall opened the Animal Clinic on Court and
Eureka Way, in downtown Redding in 1971. Dr. Stovall operated that clinic for twenty-four
years, selling it in 1995.
|
He
continued serving the clinic for three more years, under the employ of the new owners, and
in recent years had been doing part-time work for several other clinics in the area.
More recently, Dr. Stovall purchased the Shingletown operation of the Alpine Veterinary
Hospital. This clinic operation remains very much the same as in the past. Th clinic
operates as a day clinic providing small animal diagnostic, preventive medicine, and some
light surgical servicers. Critical cases, and animals needing further tests and workup,
will be referred to the veterinarian of the client's choice.
The Animal Clinic has been
sold April 1st 2008 to Dr. Rob Lydon. Dr. Tom Stovall has retired after a
career that allowed him to look forward to work every day. Thanks to all my
clients for the many years of support. |
